On Tuesday, students from 6H ventured underground into the Victoria Tunnel at the Ouseburn, uncovering fascinating artefacts and learning how the brave citizens of Newcastle endured the Blitz. Wellbeing in Action at Gosforth Academy! Today, our Character and Wellbeing Enrichment students took a mindful walk around the school grounds covering 1.5km and clocking up 2,500 steps. Using all five senses to stay present, they explored nature, discovered apple trees, and counted over 35 trees within the school perimeter. Next lesson: Care of the Mind...
